L.A. Noire Picked as Official Selection at Tribeca Film Festival

The days are dwindling down until the release day for Rockstar’s L.A. Noire and the hype for it keeps accumulating, now that the game has achieved attention and recognition from an unlikely source.

L.A. Noire is the first game to be recognized as an official selection of the 2011 Tribeca Film Festival in New York City. As part of this prestigious honor, Rockstar will be showing a world-exclusive look at the game as well as a sneak peek into the game as well as a live playthrough on April 25 as part of the Tribeca Talks panels. Tribeca Enterprises’ chief narrative officer, Geoff Gilmore, will also be moderating a Q&A talk on L.A. Noire’s story and gave development. If there are any fans who live in New York City or are in town during the festival, this event might be worth the time and money.
