Free-to-Play Ghost Recon Online Hitting the LZ Later This Year

Get Tactical At No Extra Cost With Ghost Recon Online

Ubisoft announced at a special pre-E3 press event today that an online and free-to-play multiplayer version of the popular military tactical shooter, Ghost Recon, will be available to play for PC gamers later this year. The game promises to offer “all the best qualities of the Ghost Recon franchise in a downloadable, dynamic, PC-based online game”.

While it will feature some micro-transaction aspects, Ubisoft has promised that the game will be entirely accessible to everyone, stating that you do not need to pay a single penny in order to experience everything that the new tactical shooter has to offer. Real-cash purchases will only speed up access to otherwise unlockable items.

Ubisoft also stated that “the online features complement Ghost Recon Online’s rich graphical environments and maps, which rival the quality of those traditionally seen only in retail games”.

More information about the game can be found at It is also possible for players to sign up for a closed beta of the game at the above address.
