Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception Collector’s Edition Announced, Pre-Order Bonuses Released

Uncharted Treasures

Yesterday, on the PlayStation Blog, fans of Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception got their first glimpse of the Collector’s Edition, which is valued at $99.99.

The edition features a full-size replica of both Drake’s belt buckle and ring that is attached to a necklace. A Nathan Drake statue from Sideshow Collectibles will also be included, as well as an exclusive Steelbook case with a Traveling Chest.

If that was not enough, a swarm of pre-order bonuses has been released as well. Most retailers will have an Uncharted 3 PSN avatar and a theme as their pre-order bonus, but some major retailers will be offering unique pre-order incentives. The bonuses are as follows:

  • GameStop: The Creepy Crawler Kickback allows a player to turn into creatures that will overwhelm enemies.
  • Best Buy: The Regeneration Booster allows for a faster healing rate in multiplayer.
  • Amazon: There are two bonuses: The clip size for the Para-9 and G-MAL are increased to allow for more bullets before reloading. The Carpet Bomb Kickback allows the player to throw three grenades at once, killing multiple enemies or giving one opponent a grenade shower.
  • Wal-Mart: The Callout Weapon Mod puts a laser sight on the AK-47 that allows all the players on your team to see the enemy that is being targeted by the rifle.

Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception will be released in November.

Share Your Thoughts: Is the Collector’s Edition worth picking up or will you be satisfied with the regular game with pre-order bonuses?
