Canceled: Mega Man Legends 3

Another One Bites the Dust

In an announcement on Capcom-Unity, Capcom declared that they “must regrettably announce the discontinuation of [the game].”

This is the second time that a Mega Man title has been canceled this year. The first incident happened in March with the cancelation of Mega Man Universe. The discontinuation of Mega Man Legends 3 also affects Mega Man Legends 3: Prototype Version, which had its own hurdle in terms of delays in May. Prototype Version was originally planned to be released on the Nintendo eShop for the 3DS. The reason for the termination of the project was cited as that the Mega Man Legends 3 project did not meet “the required criteria”. The post ended by thanking fans for their support to the franchise and other Capcom games.
