3DS Mii Plaza to Receive New Features Later in Year

More Fun Heading Your Portable Mii’s Way

It’s been a pretty tough week for Nintendo.  The company has been under a lot of media scrutiny for dropping the price of its 3DS console by a whopping 30% and it seems that investors are slightly concerned.

During last week’s investors briefing, Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata told attendees that complaints about the Mii Plaza software’s lifespan had reached the ears of the Big N and that the software will receive updates by the end of the year to compensate this.

Moreover, Nintendo has announced that they are indeed working on more titles that incorporate Miis.  In particular, he promised that “upcoming software for this year and the next will make collecting all those Miis not seem like a waste”.

That’s just as well as my two Miis were starting to get a little fed up with only interacting with one another.  We also hope that it isn’t a port of the Today & Tomorrow Channel.
