GameStop Opens UK Website

US Games Retailer Launches Its Presence in the UK

Eurogamer recently reported that GameStop, the American mega-gaming store chain, has launched a UK online store.

In order to celebrate the launch, the company has many top deals on new and upcoming software.  If you’re looking to pre-order some of this year’s most anticipated titles, you may want to have a peek at what’s on offer.

For example, the PlayStation Vita (Wi-Fi model) is currently available to pre-order for only £209.97 – £20 cheaper than both GAME and HMV.  The 3DS (Cosmos Black), on the other hand, has already been dropped to £154.97, which is around the new RRP that comes into effect 11 August, 2011.  It is definitely worth picking one up from GameStop sooner rather than later as all 3DS consoles that access the eShop before this date will be eligible to download 20 free retro games later in the year.
