Black Ops Is Getting Rezurrected

Four Original Zombie Maps … Back From the Dead

Activision have announced that they will be releasing yet another DLC package to Call of Duty: Black Ops players at the end of this month. Its name? Rezurrection.

In a statement on CVG, Activision detailed what we can expect from the five new maps, all of which are Zombies-exclusive.

Four are remastered and upgraded versions of the World at War Zombies maps that started it all – Nacht der Untoten, Verruckt, Shi No Numa and Der Riese.

The final, and only new map, is titled Moon, and will “change the rules of engagement”, according to Activision. Whether this means we’ll see the undead floating around for our amusement is not definite, but it’s bound to be a nice farewell until next year from Treyarch, as they know there’s no way Infinity Ward will give us Zombies in Modern Warfare 3.

There are a few little extras as well as the maps, though. The DLC will include a Moon theme for your Xbox 360 dashboard, and also comes with the soundtrack to Zombies, which contains three new songs.

The DLC hits the Xbox LIVE Marketplace on 23 August for the predictable but still hefty price of 1200MP, but no date has been confirmed for other platforms yet. However, if you’re lucky enough to own either the Hardened or Prestige versions of the game, you can get this DLC for free. Don’t say Activision don’t do anything for you.
