Persona 2 Launching on PSP With a Little Something Extra

Power to the Handhelds!

Atlus’ fans have a reason to rejoice for the second time in recent months; first, Catherine came along and charmed our pants off, leaving us in our heart-patterned boxers (see what I did there?), and now the only as-yet-unreleased title in the Persona series, Innocent Sin, is getting itself ready for launch.

As if that weren’t enough, Atlus is throwing a little something extry into the bargain for fans who pre-order the game (or pick up one immediately after launch, for a limited time). In addition to the trademark Shin Megami Tensei RPG storytelling that the series is famous for, and the game itself which is one of the highest rated games of the entire series, early copies of the PSP edition of Persona 2 will also include a 10-track soundtrack disc with music from the game composed by Shoji Meguro. The game will also be available on PSN, but it looks like the OST disc will be exclusive to the PSP version – and once it’s gone, it’s gone.

If you’re still weighing back and forth about the game, take a trip to the official page, where art, music, character profiles and more can be explored at your leisure. The game releases on 20 September on PSP and PSN.
